Haiti Needs Help
Just before 5 PM on Tuesday night, January 12, a massive 7.0 earthquake literally shook apart the foundations of Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital. While much of the devastation is still beyond comprehension, already people around the world are responding to this tragedy in a big way.
Haiti is well known as the western hemisphere’s poorest nation, which makes this tragedy even more devastating. We will ensure your donations go to a cause you believe in: Bringing hope, truth and comfort, to the people in Haiti, especially in their hour of need.
Area 10 Faith Community is collecting donations to benefit the citizens of Cite Soleil and Blanchard, Haiti. A 100% of these funds will be given directly to a local organiztion called Haiti Outreach for clinics, schools, orphanages and churches in these towns. Often we think our small part can't make a difference, but together we can make a significant impact in the lives of so many people who are hurting.

Area 10 Faith Community is an urban church with a focus on loving Richmond beyond reason.
But we know that there is a whole world out there that needs to be loved too. Amazingly, just last month we raised almost $8,000 to help a community in Haiti and have plans to send a team there this summer. The events of this week just make us more resolved to reach out and help mend this hurting country.
